I was curious.

The Brooklyn Wolfe had, on his blog, the results of a "personality test." This program, found here at Typealyzer, analyzes your blog posts and somehow determines your "personality type" when you write.

My writing style came up the same as Wolf's. Here, for those of you who haven't seen it, is the description and the graphics for this "personality" type. Actually, you can enter any blog address in their query box and find out any blog writer's "personality" type, if you are so inclined.

INTP - The Thinkers

The logical and analytical type. They are especialy attuned to difficult creative and intellectual challenges and always look for something more complex to dig into. They are great at finding subtle connections between things and imagine far-reaching implications.

They enjoy working with complex things using a lot of concepts and imaginative models of reality. Since they are not very good at seeing and understanding the needs of other people, they might come across as arrogant, impatient and insensitive to people that need some time to understand what they are talking about.

This show what parts of the brain that were dominant during writing.

So...apparently I lean heavily towards the "logical" and a good sized slice towards the "practical" side (no big surprise there), with a large dose of "intuition" and a bit of "order" and "details." Sounds about right. Of course, you could probably just read the blog and figure out the same thing - you didn't need a computer analysis to tell you that, did you? Nah, I thought not.
